A note from the artist
I’ve always been fascinated by the fact that something so beautiful can also protect itself.
Flowers aren’t fragile in the way we often imagine them to be. Some grow thorns. Some are poisonous. Some only bloom for a brief moment before fading away. None of that makes them any less beautiful.
This series began with that contradiction. I wanted the prints to feel alive—not frozen in a perfect moment, but somewhere between blooming and disappearing. Like people, they’re always changing.
